If you included any sort of tempo information in the file and you want to import it into a brand new logic session, then you click the button that says import tempo. Logic will then ask you if you want to import Tempo information. You simply just click on the "Import File" button. Once clicking on “MIDI File…” a dialogue box will open and ask you to find a MIDI file to open. Once you have your Totally awesome MIDI file, you should open up your totally awesome Logic session. (hence why the title is Importing MIDI into Logic, not Importing Audio into Logic)
